Subscription Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-11
We want you in care that fits you, not stuck in a subscription that doesn’t. This page explains how to cancel, when a refund is available, and the one category that we cannot refund because of how pharmacy fulfillment works.
1. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from inside your account or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing. You retain access to the service through the end of your current billing period unless we agree otherwise.
2. Pause and resume
If you want to step away without closing your account, for travel, a clinical break, or any other reason, you can pause your subscription. While paused, you are not billed and no new prescription is fulfilled. You can resume in your account when you are ready.
3. Refunds on the care plan
New subscribers may request a refund of their first paid period within the introductory refund window described at the point of subscription. Refund requests after that window are reviewed case by case. If you believe a billing error occurred, contact us. We will fix it.
4. Compounded prescription medications: non-refundable once dispensed
Compounded medications are prepared specifically for you by a licensed compounding pharmacy. Federal and state pharmacy law does not permit a dispensed compounded medication to be returned, resold, or restocked. Once your prescription has been dispensed by the pharmacy, the cost of that specific medication is not refundable, regardless of whether you decide later to stop using it.
This is standard pharmacy practice and applies to compounded medications from any pharmacy partner. It is not specific to Dayward. If your prescription has not yet been dispensed at the time you cancel, you will not be charged for it.
5. Refundable items
- Subscription periods cancelled inside the introductory window, per Section 3.
- Charges resulting from a billing error.
- A visit fee where the visit did not occur and was not your fault (for example, a clinician cancellation that we could not reschedule).
6. Non-refundable items
- Compounded prescription medications that have been dispensed by the pharmacy.
- Visits that occurred as scheduled, including no-shows and visits cancelled by you after the cancellation window stated when you booked.
- Periods used prior to your cancellation request.
7. How to request a refund
Email support from the address on your account, with the order or visit you are asking about. We will respond, in most cases, within a few business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
8. Disputes
If we are unable to resolve a refund question directly, the dispute resolution terms in our Terms of Service apply.
